Mayara LIma
Mayara Lima is the current Rainha de Bateria of G.R.E.S. Paraíso do Tuiuti, one of Rio de Janeiro’s renowned samba schools. A lifelong sambista, Mayara began her journey in samba as a child and joined Paraíso do Tuiuti at just 14 years old. She has risen through the ranks from passista and Destaque de Chão to Princesa da Bateria and now Rainha de Bateria. Known for her powerful samba, musicality, precision, and connection to the bateria, Mayara has become one of Rio’s recognized samba artists and is passionate about passing the culture and tradition of samba on to the next generation.
